A global conference ecosystem
that needed more than just
“marketing support”

Helping Build the Digital &
Creative Experience Behind a

The conference was bringing together IIT alumni, founders, investors, operators, researchers, policymakers, and global leaders under one ecosystem with multiple parallel events, workshops, cultural experiences, networking sessions, youth programs, and sponsor initiatives.

Groie came on board as the Official Digital Marketing Partner to support the conference across digital execution, branding, website experiences, merchandise, social media, event collateral, and overall creative consistency.

This also became one of Groie’s first major partnerships at scale. And because the conference ecosystem was constantly evolving, the execution needed to move just as fast.

Building consistency across a fast-moving event ecosystem

Most conferences operate with static deliverables. A website goes live. A few social posts are scheduled. Some banners get designed.

New workshops were being
added
New speakers were being
announced
New event tracks were
launching
New sponsor requirements
kept coming in

The challenge was not just execution. It was creating consistency across dozens of moving parts while keeping the conference experience premium and cohesive.

Every event needed

Its own communication layer
Its own visual identity
Its own landing experience
Its own collateral
Its own attendee-facing assets

Without looking disconnected from the larger IIT2026 ecosystem.

What Groie Delivered

Website & Event Experience

Groie supported the design and execution of multiple digital touchpoints across the conference ecosystem.

This included:

  • Workshop pages
  • Golf event pages
  • Youth event pages
  • Event landing pages
  • One-pagers
  • Speaker-related layouts
  • Information-focused attendee pages
  • Supporting visual consistency across digital journeys

The focus was not building isolated pages. The focus was making the conference experience feel connected from one touchpoint to another.

Conference Branding & Creative Systems

One of the biggest parts of the engagement was building scalable visual consistency.

Groie designed:

  • Event brochures
  • Social media creatives
  • Speaker announcement visuals
  • Sponsor-facing assets
  • Event collateral
  • Session creatives
  • Digital communication systems
  • Print-ready conference material

As the conference expanded, the design system also had to expand without becoming messy or fragmented.

Merchandise Design

Groie also worked on more than 20 merchandise designs for the conference ecosystem.

This included:

  • Apparel concepts
  • Event merchandise graphics
  • Branded attendee assets
  • Print-ready creative systems
  • Conference-themed merchandise execution

The intention was to make the merchandise feel modern and memorable instead of generic conference branding.

Social Media & Buzz Creation

Groie supported the conference across social media and promotional execution leading up to the event.

This included

Event promotions
Social content
Creative direction
Audience-facing communication
Speaker launch creatives
Content strategy
support
Buzz-oriented campaign
execution

The goal was not simply posting updates. It was helping build anticipation around the conference itself.

Podcast & Media Support

Groie also supported podcast-related branding and promotional execution connected to the IIT2026 ecosystem.

This included:

  • Podcast creatives
  • Promotional design support
  • Media-oriented communication assets
  • Marketing support for content distribution
Creating scalable branding systems for a growing conference
“IIT2026 was one of those projects where we stopped feeling like an external marketing partner very early into the engagement. We became deeply operational across the conference ecosystem. Some days we were designing merchandise. Other days we were fixing event pages, handling brochure systems, launching speaker creatives, building workshop collateral, or helping maintain consistency across dozens of moving announcements. It was intense, fast-moving, and creatively demanding in the best possible way. And honestly, for Groie, this became an important proof point. It showed that even as a lean team, we could operate across large-scale execution environments without compromising on quality, speed, or consistency.”

From the frontlines
“Groie became much more than a digital marketing partner for IIT2026. The team handled branding, digital execution, merchandise, social media, event collateral, and design support with incredible ownership and speed. With so many moving parts across the conference, Groie consistently helped maintain quality and consistency across the event ecosystem.”

Outcome

This engagement became one of Groie’s earliest large-scale creative and digital partnerships. Not because of performance metrics.

But because it demonstrated Groie’s ability to operate inside a high-volume, globally visible conference ecosystem while handling:

Branding
Digital Execution
Merchandise
Event Marketing
Website Support
Creative Systems
Social Storytelling
Multi-event Coordination

Most importantly, it showed how strong design systems and fast execution shape how attendees experience an event long before they arrive.
